I want to archive but DMCA stopped me

Mon, 05/11/2026 - 12:10am

I made a Minecraft PS3 source code torrent (original file), but Microslop DMCA stopped me. If you want it's magnet link, I'll drop (and disclaimer, this is community choice, I won't have any obligation to obey Microsoft DMCA if community agreed for me to drop source)

Ask HN: How much does Gemini API cost for a simple n8n workflow?

Sun, 05/10/2026 - 11:31pm

Got scared this weekend! Just built something with my Gemini API, then the tokens just burned so fast!!! My auto flow be like:

Running a workflow that fires every 4 hours, pulls ~150 RSS items, slices to 15, sends each to Gemini 2.5 Flash for scoring and draft generation. An this burned $5 in two days during testing. Wondering if that's normal or if I misconfigured something. What's your actual cost with N8N using Gemini?

And any tips for keeping it cheaper? I'm building my product now without funding and charging, so I have to manage my budget in every cent.

Show HN: Kheeper, a registry designed for bootable images

Sun, 05/10/2026 - 11:07pm

The folks behind bootc have been doing some amazing work. I haven't been this excited for dev-ops since 2015 when Kubernetes was taking off. You can push bootc images to any OCI registry but there is still some toil involved in getting those images booted on a cloud VM or bare metal server and also in injecting the host configuration. I built a new registry in Go designed to smooth out those rough edges and hopefully encourage others to adopt bootc.
