Ask HN: Where could I pilot test my mascot personalization AI?

Hacker News - Wed, 05/07/2025 - 8:49pm

Hi HN,

I’m a student at UCB working on an AI tool that personalizes mascots (like sports team characters) into custom versions for individual users.

Unlike general-purpose AI, my system preserves consistency and strictly follows the original character’s design guidelines! though.. each character takes about 4 hours to set up.

I’d love to get your thoughts: - What kinds of use cases or industries might benefit from this tech? - Any suggestions on how to find good pilot test partners?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Ask HN: Updated 7-day calendar app – cleaner UI, recurring tasks

Hacker News - Wed, 05/07/2025 - 8:16pm

Based on early feedback, the 7-day calendar app has been updated with a cleaner interface, improved time input and mobile responsiveness, and now includes recurring tasks. Simple pricing is in place for continued development, but it's free to test. Still focused on short-term (7-day) planning. Thoughts on the updates?
